Highly effective additive that reduces the formation of soot and improves the reliability of diesel particulate filters. Vehicles used for short trips and city traffic are especially affected by problems with clogged diesel particulate filters. The special, catalytically-effective substances reduce the soot’s ignition temperature from 600°C to 450°C, and this clearly supports the filter's passive regeneration during normal engine running. Regular use keeps the diesel particulate filter clean, avoiding expensive repairs and down times. Starts working on the build-up of particulates even on combustion, and therefore also reduces the load on the particulate filter. As a result, the additive also contributes to reducing emissions.
